There are times in life when things happen just because they are supposed to. Some call it fate, some call it luck.

I've been associated with my website server for a few years now and I've got to know the company Manager very well. I mentioned in an email to him a few weeks ago, that it would be nice to find somebody knowledgeable to upgrade my website. He put me in touch with Nancy McLay and Rival Business Solutions.

Nancy and I made first contact over email and then on to phone conversations about the site and what I was looking for.

I am an Entertainer/Performer, and I was concerned that many different minded people will be on my site looking for many different things. With that in mind Nancy got to work, and boy did we have fun!

The new website is incredible! Nancy was very personable and accessable, conferring with me on all sorts of things a performer in the entertainment business would want in a site. Nancy made the website entertaining!

I don't know the computer business very well but I do know the importance of a well designed website. Nancy patiently tutored me on things like website first impressions, potential customer contact, marketing my name, my brand! Nancy took the time to generate life into my tired, old company logo. She showed me a different type of marketing strategy which I now apply to my daily business life. We sent emails back and forth with a lot of great ideas that were perfect and made it to the website and other ideas that were just plain funny, and I laughingly realized I was enjoying this whole process. As we neared completion of my website Nancy put the pages up on a test website so friends and business associates could have an advance peak. Every person who saw it...loved it!

Nancy McLay and the Rival Business Solutions team have made my new website stand above all others!!

Over these last few weeks I've also come to realize that through this experience, we've not only built a website, but we've built a great friendship as well. Working with Rival Business Solutions on my website creation project was smooth and painless. I was given the time needed to create my copy and ideas for the overall look of the pages, all the while kept on track by Nancy's instructive emails. Knowing better what I did not want than what I did, I relied greatly on Nancy to provide alternatives for my consideration. The website mock-ups were regularly provided so I could change things I had requested, but really didn't look so good when done.
